Cancellations - Order cancellations for any reason are subject to a $30 cancellation fee and processing fees (3%) and any shipping charges we may have incurred on any products we may have already shipped.
Damaged Items - Items damaged in shipment are usually replaced at no charge to you. All damaged products must be returned. The shipper (usually UPS or FedEx) must be notified at the time of receipt of any damage. You must notify us within ten days of receiving your order for any damaged items. Do not contact the cannery directly, or file a claim yourself, contact us first, we must handle any damage claims from here.
Order Corrections - Order corrections can be made before your order ships (no charge). Adding or dropping items from your order is no longer allowed due to extreme cannery volume, if you need to do this, simply place another order. If you need to change the delivery address or date, you must call us or email us first (several days) before we ship so we can get this done in a timely fashion. UPS now charges you $11 per package for address / intercept corrections if your order is already enroute. Make sure you have provided us with the correct name and address for your shipment. You are responsible for making sure your address, your order, the items and the quantity are 100% correct at the time you place your order. Be SURE you examine your order receipt which is emailed to you at the time of your order!
Shipping Charges: We charge shipping on the Rainy Day products and Country Living products. Our cart calculates these charges at the time of your order, however we are seeing shipping costs increases from UPS and FedEx. If your shipping costs more then you have already paid, your credit card will be billed for the difference. We can no longer absorb these losses. We're simply asking you to pay what we pay, nothing more.
Payment: All orders must be prepaid in advance. We accept Visa, Mastercard, personal checks, money orders or cashier checks. Bounced checks are charged $30. Payment by check must be to our merchant account, Jade Enterprises. We do not accept American Express or Discover anymore, we can't stand thieves.
Returns - No product returns. All sales final. We do this because this is also the policy of the canneries we deal with. Any products returned (refusal or failure to pick up) are considered "cancelled" and the above cancellation policy will apply. Any shipping charges we have incurred will also be deducted from any refund.
Missing Item Refunds - Missing items are refunded after we receive the shipping invoice data for your order. Your shipping invoice can take several weeks to arrive, but we can request the data from the cannery and usually process this much sooner. Any extra shipping charges we've had to pay are collected at that time and deducted from your refund.
Backorders - No back orders on freight shipments (semi-truck). UPS shipments are usually back ordered and filled when products become available from the following product lines: Alpine Aire (AA), Richmoor (RM) and Mountain House (MH). We are no longer accepting back orders for the Rainy Day Food line (RD), any missing items from Rainy Day are simply refunded to your credit card.
Pricing - All prices on our website are current prices. We receive emergency price increases from all four canneries at any given time. Existing orders are honored for pricing at the time the order was placed, we do NOT go back and ask you to pay a higher price on products. Prices on our website are subject to change without notice.
Products - All customers accept complete responsibility for product selection, ingredients, dietary needs or special dietary restrictions.
Website - Product description, pricing and availability as shown on the website are subject to change without notice. We do not accept any responsibility for manufacture changes to product descriptions, weights or ingredients.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders from anybody for any reason.
